I've been feeling a little boho lately and I figured it was time to return to my dark and spiked roots.. ahhh comfort zone. This black jacket was a random Levi's jacket that I DIY-ed over the summer.. I feel like I've mentioned that before, so if I have I apologize. Otherwise, I just kept the look super simple with my favorite denim shorts, a huge Grey turtleneck, my favorite gunmetal necklace , and of course my Spiked Jeffrey's. My boyfriend is getting sick of me wearing these shoes (because I really do have many other options).. so perhaps I will retire them for a little while ):

The random rainbow showed up in my raw images after the shoot and I thought it was pretty much the coolest thing ever.. not sure how it happened.. probably some lens/lighting mistake that worked out in my favor.

I am so sick of wearing tights though! I am ready for spring and summer.. what about you all? I bet you're ready too.

  3. I absolutely Love your look…love the poses………. ;love the color combination……. they work for you soooo well……
You’re so chic! So pretty…and you have such a great sense of style.
Love your legs in the tights …… and the shorts...and I must have those shoes
You match perfectly…everything you wear…… you certainly make a super statement..... and your hair is so gorgeous, my hair is long as well, but you wear yours sooooo hip! Love the bangs (fringe) perfect for your lovely face
I grew up in tights, being in ballet for 13 years. In fact, mom raised me rather androgynously, so I also wore tights under big sweaters and hip length tunics and such around the house growing up. Your lovely look reminds me of all those days….epsecially when the delivery man would come and I’d meet him at the door and he’s refer to me as Miss……
Oh, by the way, I’m a guy…and I love fashion as much as I love dance.
I traveled in Europe this past fall, studying ballet
It looks like you have the same affinity for tights as I have…..

I’ve been raving to my new friends about how much I love the tights/shorts look, so they encouraged me to try it myself…
and I have in a big way,….. denim cutoffs, high waisted shorts, even a romper…….
I will following your blog religiously….. thanks for sharing your lovely taste and your beauty

    1. What an absolute joy you comment was to read! It seems our love for tights stems from the same origin, as I was a ballet dancer from age 3-18. I miss it dearly however, I don't think I ever really gave up the uniform hehe. I truly appreciate your kinds words, sir. You made my day <3

    2. Thanks so very much for your response. Your taking the time to respond to me really made my day! Truly it was easy for me to make those comments because I'm simply being honest. You are so pretty, and so stylish. It's not a surprise that you did ballet, it's easy to see in how you carry yourself.
I started at age 5, and have been serious throughout. It's really changed who I am........ I must say that I'm probably a lot more "feminine" than I would have been if I had not done ballet, and I'm fine with that.
I'm happy to try and be graceful and carry myself in a beautiful way as I make my way through the travails of life.
In my case, I wear the "uniform" so to speak in far more places than just the dance studio. (as I mentioned).
I get looks, yes, but I'm rather petite, and with my longer hair, I'm often just mistaken for a girl.
I have my own style, to be sure...... but I am surely getting a super inspiration from your style.
I promise to follow you, and take care....... stay beautiful, and please keep blogging.

    3. Plus........ one would have to have done a good amount of training en pointe to be able to wear those super chic booties that you're wearing...I adore them.

  4. wow J'adore your outfit, u are very original, u are amazing
